While spending a spring weekend at Paradis Inn in 2008- this poem was gifted to me.

The Wheel it Turns

Brilliant sky

Both day and night

I stand in awe

The dancing light.

The ice it cracks

As water flows

Spring is sprung

As winter goes.

The circle moves

Its’ journey true.

We look ahead

Both me and you.

All unknown

Not so. Not so.

The summer comes

Then fall. Then snow.

This wheel it turns

With many gifts

Four seasons come

As weather shifts.

I’ll sleep awhile

Enjoy this place

As clouds roll up

In changing space.
