I spent the weekend at Paradise Inn on a retreat to get my head sorted out. I try do this a couple of times through the year. Life seems full of distractions from what matters most…At the cabin I can find center again.
Using a little winter magic and prayer to those far wiser than I, I was gifted with a song, I now share with you:

Song of Peace

Round and round the circle goes,

A song of peace weaves and sews,

A web within, deep in our core,

Sacred place where dreams they soar.

Hear the singing, hear the drums.

A call to friends, Song welcomes.

Round and round the circle goes,

A song of peace weaves and sews.

Dreamtime beckons and spirits sing,

Honor the Great One, hear bells ring.

Round and round the circle goes,

A song of peace weaves and sews.

Singing drum, four corners face,

Heads bowed low, we ask for grace.

Round and round the circle goes,

A song of peace weaves and sews.

Bless this land, all peoples, each race

Mother Earth’s chapel, sacred space,

Round and round the circle goes,

A song of peace weaves and sews.

Ancestral Ones who’ve gone before

Our spirit guides join for more.

Round and round the circle goes,

A song of peace weaves and sews.

Bless the spirits of our land

Circle together hand in hand.

Round and round the circle goes,

A song of peace weaves and sews.

Joy and abundance, well being for all

Courage is ours, embrace the call.

Round and round the circle goes,

A song of peace weaves and sews.

Drumming softly, singing song,

Shine our light, the circle strong.

A song of peace weaves and sews,

As round and round the circle grows.
